I’ve been working on Mended Hearts now since January 2012 and last night a new idea occurred — to work with men’s hearts. Given my history, it’s both a stretch and an idea whose time has come.

I see I am influenced by all the heart mending!

The feeling in the hearts I mend is very feminine and I have thought of it as appropriate for mending all hearts — yet I recognize that only a few men respond. Not being a man I do not know what makes up men’s hearts. I have my opinions but it’s not the same as knowing. So I have asked friends who are men to make me a heart that I can mend. I can take it from there.

We will see what comes of it.
